Public promises made in connection with Social Tokens
Candao recognizes the fact that owners of social tokens (like brand or social tokens) will often connect their issuance with some sort of public promise, like the abovementioned participation in profits, dividends, premium services, or early access. As for now, Candao can’t guarantee the enforceability of such promises, so any ecosystem participants buying social tokens based on such promises should make their own assessment of whether or not the statements made by the token issuer are realistic and reliable. Candao believes that public promises made by issuers in relation to their social tokens will be eventually subjected to self-validating social consensus in which keeping public promises will strengthen social or brand token value, whereas doing otherwise might inversibly ruin profile reliability and kill social token value.
